If you
are new to linux and you do not want to go thru the hustle and
bustle of installing it, partioning your hard drive, and installing all
the applications for CFD, CAD, meshing, visualization and optimization
(OpenFOAM
included), we recommend you to use this virtual machine based on Linux
Opensuse Leap 42.1.
SUSEFoam5
(for OpenFOAM version 5.0)
Click here to download the installation instructions.
We recommend you to install this
linux virtual machine using VMware Workstation Player (free for
non-commercial, personal and home use). Alternatively, you
can use virtualBox
(opensource), which works in MacOS and windows.
